The Evolution of Implementing Success - Happy 15th Anniversary AccountingDepartment.com!

There's a saying around the virtual halls at ADC that sums up our approach to just about everything... "the only thing constant is change". And in looking back at our first 15 years, many of us have found the walk down memory lane to be quite fascinating. The sheer volume of developments, shifts, and inventions have us inspired to imagine what the next 15 years will look like. 

One of our favorite areas to revisit is the Implementation Team. ADC is famous for our approach to supporting clients, from day one implementation to their permanent team. The Implementation Team are the "covert ops" and "mission control" specialists that structure each new client for long-term success and ensuring hand off to the permanent team is seamless. But as in all things, the Implementation Team as it is today is a product of many, many years of refinement, training, structuring and development.

Early on (within the first years of ADC), the need for a specialized group of Implementation experts was recognized but the steps for how to create and scale it weren't clear. So we did what we always do—we invented it from scratch. And over the years, the team grew from 2 colleagues to a two-tiered bookkeeper/supervisor structure and then, over the past couple of years, into the 5-tiered structure it is today.
