Remote Access

Once we set up your new QuickBooks file, enter any backwork & complete the first closing process, AccountingDepartment.com will set up a shortcut on your computer desktop for quick access to the server. You will then be able to log in to your QuickBooks file to print checks, send payments via QuickBooks Bill Pay service, or view transactions and reports.

Procedure

• Server snapshot every 3 hours held for 5 days for shared data.
• Server snapshot every 24 hours as a separate process as the 3 hour snapshot and held for 5 weeks.
• Entire server farm is backedup nightly to disk held for 2 weeks.
• The nightly disk backups produced the last week of the month will be backed up to tape. The tape is stored off site in a fire proof vault. Monthly backups are kept for a year after which they are backed up into yearly tape.
• The monthly tapes are compiled into a yearly tape backup at the end of the year. These tapes are stored off site in a fire proof vault. These annual backups are held for 3 years.
